Based in Estes Park, Colorado, Photography Classes are conducted in the Rocky Mountains;

Photo Tours take place in the Mornings and evenings; these times correspond to the best light for photos, and times when wildlife are most active.   

On Tours we commonly visit:

  • Trail Ridge Road (The highest paved continuous highway in the Unites States) This highly scenic route features snow capped peaks contrasted with deep glacial canyons, and commonly feature wildlife. 
  • The Bear Lake corridor (Bear lake, Dream Lake, Alberta Falls, Bierstadt Lake, and more) One of the most visited areas in Rocky Mountain National Park, it features Numerous lakes, coupled with falls, and creeks.  

A tour lasts 2.5-3 hours and features the locations and scenery for which Rocky Mountain National Park is famous.

In a photography class you will learn:

  • How to prepare for photo excursions
  • The basics of camera control and operation (Calculating exposure, use of varying shutter speeds and apertures)
  • How to compose a photographic scene (so that elements work together)

On tour you will also learn about the history of Rocky Mountain National Park, its ecology, and wildlife.

Our photography class will put you on firm ground with your photographic knowledge and increase your confidence behind the camera. Learning more about the photography will enable you to move much closer to your desired result when using a camera.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a prime location to hone your photo skill and practice is the best way to improve your ability taking photos.

A tour costs: $145

Each Additional Person: $40 (up to 2 additional people)

We want you to enjoy your tour, so one family member, or friend is also welcome to join free of charge, as long as their only camera is a cell phone.
